Meeting of the Coordinating of the Canary Institutions Solidarity with the Saharawi People

Meeting on Tuesday, April 6, 2010, to assess the situation in the Occupied Territories and develop the work plan to develop during 2010.

It meets the Coordinating Canary of Institutions solidaritys with the Saharawi people for another year, which brings together all local authorities, councils and the Parliamentary Intergroup solidarity with the Saharawi people, as well as other institutions and entities (universities of Canary Islands,  Canary Associations friendship and solidarity, the Delegation of the Polisario Front in the Canary Islands, Schools Network Solidarity, the Coalition of NGO's and the Association of Jurists of the Canary Islands), to analyze the state of the Sahara conflict and raise the work plan and joint actions that will take place this year to assist in the just solution thereof.

The coordinating committee expressed his categorical rejection to the violation of Human Rights in the Occupied Territories and its support and solidarity with the Saharawi political prisoners on hunger strike in the prison of Salé.
