Kidnapped seven Sahrawi human rights activists at the airport in Casablanca

Casablanca, 08/10/2009 (SPS) The Moroccan authorities seized at noon on Thursday morning, seven Sahrawi human rights activists after getting off the plane in Casablanca airport returning from a visit to camps for Sahrawi refugees, according to sources cited by SPS.

The seven Sahrawi activists were kidnapped are Ali Salem Tamek, Brahim Dahane, Rachid Sghair, Nassiri Hamadi, Yehdih Terrouzi, Saleh Loubeihi and Degja Lechgar. We encourage the movement of solidarity with the Saharawi people to conduct protest actions against the arrests and demanded the release of all Saharawi political prisoners.
